A fair designed for the equipment rental ecosystem

The machinery rental market has been growing consistently and noticeably all over the world, and in Brazil it is no different. Data from the Federal Revenue Service and collected by the Brazilian Association of Unions and Associations Representing Equipment, Machinery and Tool Rental Companies (ANALOC) show that this sector has approximately 40,100 companies in Brazil, generating R$28 billion in business.

The number of rental companies is always growing, what changes is the intensity. In more than 80%, the sector is made up of small and micro-enterprises, and individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEI). When the market is more buyers, consequently more companies emerge, that is, everything is linked to the success of the economy.

In addition, rental companies currently acquire a huge percentage of machinery sales, of different models and manufacturers. They consume 90 to 95% of cranes, hoists and aerial work platforms; 70 to 80% of lighting towers; 65 to 75% of concrete mixers and 55 to 60% of power generators, which justifies good marketing actions and relationships between suppliers of this equipment and rental companies.

With the performance of rental companies becoming increasingly satisfactory, the ANALOC Rental Show was created to move the entire rental ecosystem, in an environment where it is possible to strengthen relationships between manufacturers, suppliers and lessors, generate business, disseminate technologies, encourage special purchasing conditions, and present free lectures. The fair is the result of a partnership between ANALOC and Grupo LocadoresBR, and its main role is to give the rental professional all the prominence to which they deserve.

This means that, at the Analoc Rental Show, the lessor finds a different profile: there are exhibiting companies buying used machines from visitors, as well as some manufacturers of equipment with electric motors, batteries and fully aligned with sustainability issues. All with well-designed strategies to offer the public differentiated conditions with a rental bias.

Visitors will find everything from management systems to tools and lifting platforms, compressors to power generators, pneumatic hammers to personal safety equipment (PPE), aluminum ladders and drills to aerial work platforms, compactors and cranes.

In addition, a younger generation of leaders has been taking over management positions in companies, revitalizing the market. The focus is more on updating fleet technology, control and management, especially in small and medium-sized companies, which see the professionalization and qualification of their teams as their greatest market differentiator. Therefore, there is no room today for companies that rent old or poorly maintained equipment, nor for poor business management, otherwise the client itself will exclude these suppliers from their contracts.
